Debuty home completed; dedicated on Sept. 6

The Debuty family has a new home.

More than 100 East Tennessean’s joined Ross, Amanda and Raymond Debuty on the morning of Sept. 6th at the site of their new home. The Debuty’s cut a ribbon and received the keys to their new home in a Dedication Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the home.

The completion of the home comes seven months to-the-date of the fire that claimed the lives of four Debuty children.

More than 10,000 man-hours were contributed to the project, more than 400 volunteers helped rebuild the home, and more than 100 businesses from across East Tennessee donated materials, labor, and resources free-of-charge to the One Home Many Hands project.

The home has more than 2500 sq. ft. of living space, contains four bedrooms and three bathrooms and is also outfitted with a custom 500 sq. ft. playroom for surving child, Raymond Debuty, 3.

Organizers of the One Home Many Hands project would like to thank all volunteers and businesses who made this possible.
